I began my shiatsu studies in 1998 and graduated from the Shiatsu College in 1991.  In 1998 I became a registered teacher with the Shiatsu Society and set up the Northern School of Shiatsu, where I have been actively teaching ever since.

Baz Golinski

I am a qualified Shiatsu Practitioner and Teacher registered with Shiatsu Society (UK). In my practice I specialise in Shiatsu Shin-Tai, an innovative style of Shiatsu which helps to clear stress from the body and restore vitality and inner balance.

Annette Lucas

I had qualified in Therapeutic Massage in 2001, gaining further qualifications in Acupressure Massage in 2005 and a Post Graduate Diploma in Acupuncture in 2008.  In 2020 I completed further training in Tension and Trauma Release exercises and Bodypoem in 2021. All modalities focus on embodied somatic processes that promote a sense of agency and engaged aliveness.

Lisa Snelling

I am a shiatsu practitioner working within Zen and Shin Tai modalities and I am the director of the online MSc and CPD Programmes at the Northern College of Acupuncture (NCA).  I qualified with my Diploma in 2005 after which, I qualified as a teacher and have been learning Shiatsu Shin Tai since 2012.

Michelle Cotter

I have a holistic therapies background, before completing my shiatsu training here at the Northern School of Shiatsu. I am trained in several different massage and holistic therapies from aromatherapy, sports massage, reflexology and many more.
